In Queensland a roadworthy certificate is called a safety certificate. A safety certificate is needed when you plan to sell a vehicle in Queensland, or when re-registering an unregistered vehicle. A safety certificate inspection is not a comprehensive mechanical inspection, it confirms your vehicle has passed a minimum safety standard inspection.
This inspection covers the basics for the safe operation of the vehicle such as tyres, brakes, steering, suspension, body rust or damage, windscreen and lights.
Before you advertise your car, motorbike, trailer or any light vehicle for sale you must obtain and clearly display a Safety Certificate. Hanos Car Care Albany Creek & Everton Park are an approved inspection station to provide you with a safety certificate.
